Ebony Droste
Founder & Executive Director
Known to her community as Ebby, Ebony Droste is a doula, certified peer support specialist, and nonprofit leader whose work spans federal maternal health policy, direct community care, and grassroots advocacy.
Her experience navigating systems both as a professional and as a person with lived expertise is the foundation of ELLA’s approach: wraparound, trust-based, and unapologetically community-centered.
Ebby founded ELLA to create the organization she wished had existed for the families and individuals she served throughout her career — one that meets people where they are and walks with them toward stability, healing, and thriving.
